Nicholas Burrowes is currently pursuing his Bachelor of Fine Arts in Studio Art with a focus in Photography at Kansas State University. Nicholas was born in Swineford, Germany where he spent his early childhood before moving to the United States. Being part of a military family allowed him to travel, gaining new experiences and seeing many different things. After beginning his studies at Kansas State University in 2007, he made the choice to put his education on hold and travel to gain better insight and more life experience. After a few years, Nicholas decided to return to Kansas State University where he began to pursue a degree in fine art with an emphasis on photography. Nicholas focuses mainly on male nudes and natural spaces. Drawing inspiration from artists such as Shen Wei, Walter Summers, and Paul Freeman, he has begun working on bringing his own view on the world to life. He has presented his work in Manhattan, Kansas and will show in a BFA group exhibition at Kansas State University in December of 2018.
